New York State Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators

The purpose of the Chapter shall be to:

1. Unite, for mutual benefit, public officials and private persons engaged in the control of arson and kindred crimes.
2. Provide for the exchange of technical information and developments.
3. Cooperate with other law enforcement agencies and associations to further fire investigations and the suppression of crime.
4. Encourage high professional standards of conduct among arson investigators
5. Continually strive to eliminate all factors which interfere with the administration of crime suppression.

The Chapter shall not be operated for profit and its funds may not be used in an attempt to influence legislation.
